GAUGE:
23 sts/28.5 rows to 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) in pattern stitch, blocked (widthwise only). One full pattern/row repeat (59 sts/66 rows) measures 10.25” wide x 9.25” long (26 cm x 23.5 cm).
Throw is cast on and worked flat in one piece.

YARN:
Allow approx 1,969 yds (1,800 m) worsted weight yarn – Small, Allow approx 2,890 yds (2,643 m) worsted weight yarn – Medium, and Allow approx 3,975 yds (3,635 m) worsted weight yarn – Large in aran weight yarn.
Sample (Large) knit using (21) 3.5 oz/100 gr (194 yds/177 m) skeins of Patons Classic Wool Worsted (100% pure new wool) in 77756 Honey. Small 11 skeins, Medium 15 skeins.
NEEDLES:
US 7 (4.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles
Or any size needed to obtain correct gauge and length to suit number of stitches.
