Dress, top and skirt fit 11 – 12” (27.9 – 30.5 cm) fashion dolls like the modern MTM Standard Size Barbie® and Poppy Parker®. Blocked dress measures approx 5.25” (13.3 cm) from center top of neckline to hem and is 2.25” wide (5.7 cm) at underarms. Blocked crop top measures approx 1.63” (4.1 cm) from center top of neckline to hem and is 2.25” wide (5.7 cm) at underarms. Blocked skirt measures approx 3.25” (8.3 cm) long from waist to hem and is 2.25” wide (5.7 cm) at the hip.
CHARTED/WRITTEN:
The pattern is fully charted, but also includes complete written directions so the ability to read a chart is not necessary to work this pattern.
GAUGE:
16 sts/22 rnds to 1” x 1” (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch, blocked. Work must be knit tightly to achieve gauge/fit and realistic 1/6 scale stitch size.
Dress, top and skirt are cast on using the longtail cast-on and then worked in the round. Stitches are bound off and cast on for armholes. Stitches are picked up to form skirt back vent.
