SIZE(S):

Toque fits most 11 – 12” (27.9 – 30.5 cm) fashion dolls with proportionately sized head. Unblocked, unstretched toque circumference approx 4” (10.2 cm). Unblocked toque height approx 1.38“ (3.5 cm). Gently blocked scarf measures approx 7” (17.5 cm) long and .75” (1.9 cm). Additional sizes available by working more or fewer pattern stitch/row repeats or changing needle sizes.

CHARTED/WRITTEN:

The pattern is fully charted, but also includes complete written directions so the ability to read a chart is not necessary to work this pattern.

GAUGE:

16 sts/24 rows to 1” x 1” (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm) in pattern stitch, unblocked, unstretched. Work must be knit tightly to achieve gauge/fit and realistic 1/6 scale stitch size.

Hat is cast on using the longtail cast-on and then worked in the round. Hat features an attractive decrease and looks just as lovely without a pompon should you wish to forego this extra embellishment. Scarf is started at one end and is worked flat to desired length.

To work this pattern, you will need to know:

  • Longtail cast-on
  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Slip stitches – BOTH knit-wise and purl-wise
  • Decrease stitches – K2TOG
  • Twisted stitches – KTBL
