Base Camp Sweater

I love summertime and with fall fast approaching I will soon be mourning its’ loss. The one thing about knitting and summer, though, as any knitter knows is that it can be hot and sticky. Who wants a large throw, a shawl or even a scarf hanging in their lap when the temperature hits over 85 degrees Fahrenheit? Not me!

So, not being much of a sock knitter (not yet anyway, lol) I was left to find some tiny projects to inspire me through the hotter months.

While cleaning out some clutter in my storage room, I came across my old Barbie doll…from longer ago than I care to tell! She wasn’t quite up to modeling anymore given her haircut that I blessed her with all those years ago, but she inspired me to design some doll knits to entertain myself this summer, and with any luck, I hope that my fellow knitters will enjoy them too!

Little did I know, that Barbie is not just Barbie anymore and now comes in a plethora of sizes – just like us full-sized versions. So, to cover more of today’s sized dolls, I upgraded my doll collection (and sharpened my grading skills) to create patterns that are sized to fit the current Mattel Made-to-Move and Integrity sized fashion dolls.

So, please welcome the Base Camp Sweater for your favorite male fashion doll and the Color Pop Halter Dress for your female fashion doll. Both patterns are fully charted and have complete written instructions as well. These knits are quick, colorful and fun!

Color Pop Halter DressAs always, these downloadable, PDF patterns have been professionally tech edited and test knit to reduce the potential for error.
